For this exhibition, I presented a triptych of silkscreen prints in four layers that celebrate the vibrant spirit of Morichar Square. At the heart of these works are skateboarders, depicted alongside other local figures. The merging of the characters symbolises the collective rhythm of the community, highlighting both individuality and solidarity.
To produce these pieces, I experimented with the use of watercolour in the screen-printing process. This approach led to unexpected textures and patterns, with the fluid nature of watercolour introducing elements of chance into the work. The resulting textures contribute to the layered and organic appearance of the prints, reflecting the spontaneous interactions and movement within the square.
